Gordon MacLure, Johnston Carmichael, Bishop’s Court, 29 Albyn Place, Aberdeen AB10 1YL was appointed as Interim Liquidator of Granite Reef Limited on 20 September 2017.

The affairs, business and property of the company are being managed by the Interim Liquidator who contracts only as agent of the company and without any personal liability.

Granite Reef will remain open as we run our closing down sale throughout the final week of business before closing the doors for the last time on Saturday 7th October, so still time to grab some outrageous bargains and your very last chance to get some shop brand goodies.

Making a Purchase

Simply add the items you would like to purchase to your virtual shopping cart, then hit the "Checkout" link to add your delivery details. You need to check the box to notify us that you "agree to the Terms of Service" as detailed here, which will confirm your order. Finally, this directs you to our secure payment page (courtesy of the highly trusted Sage Pay system) which will guide you through the payment procedure. Once your secure payment has gone through and been verified by one of our staff, you will recieve a Payment Confirmation email, which lets you know that your order is being processed for shipping. Once collected by our courier, you will recieve an Item Shipped notification to let you know that it's on its way.

Shipping and Deliveries

Our standard delivery tarrif is as follows, and uses a next-working-day courier service. Orders placed before 12 will be dispatched on the same day.

Please note that we use a signed courier service, so please ensure that somebody will be at the delivery address given to provide a signature.

If you are non-mainland UK or an international customer, we will assess your order individually to ensure that you are getting the best possible value and service for shipping. You can either contact us first with the item(s) and your address and we will give you a quote for shipping costs, or you can just put your order through and we will contact you with the shipping costs and to arrange additional payments prior to sending your parcel. If you are not happy with the quote that you are given, there is no charge to cancel your order prior to shipping.

Returns Policy

You are entitled to return any item for a refund, provided that it is in a re-sellable condition and it has been no more than 14 days since you received the item. We will not refund postage costs unless the item is incorrect, not as described or faulty. Should your order have qualified for discounted shipping, your refund will be minus the cost of standard shipping (£6.00). If your item arrives damaged, or otherwise faulty, we can arrange for a collection to be made at our cost.

All returns should be labelled ' Granite Reef Ltd Returns Department'. You should also include your name, address, daytime telephone number, a copy of all invoice/receipts and a covering letter explaining why you are returning it AND what you would like us to do; refund or exchange?

All products from Granite Reef Ltd are guaranteed against manufacturing defects. Guarantees may vary depending on products & manufacturers.

If you think that your item is faulty then please contact us as soon as possible. All items will be inspected by ourselves and often by the Manufacturer before being deemed faulty. Once we are satisfied the goods are faulty, depending on the circumstances they may be repaired, replaced, exchanged or refunded. Your postage costs in returning the item to us will also be refunded.

If your purchase is being submitted for a warranty claim it will need to be assessed by the manufacturer before a decision is made on action required. This may incur a postage/courier charge on larger items for which successful claims will be reimbursed.

Out of Stock Items

We make every effort to ensure that our website is updated regularly, but in some cases, an item may sell out in store but still be purchasable on our website. In this unlikely instance you have the options of a full refund, an alternative product, or we can source another of the item in question. Don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions of stock levels, etc.

Credit Card Security

When an order is placed on our site, you will be taken through a secure Sagepay payment system. Thousands of businesses outsource their transaction security to Sagepay, as it is their top priority to ensure that transaction data is kept safe at all times. All transaction info passed between us and Sagepay is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder info is ever passed unencrypted, and any messages sent to our servers from Sagepay are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. Nothing passed to Sagepay's servers can be examined, used or modified by any third party. Sagepay adhere to the highest level of complience (Level 1) under the Payment Card Industy Data Security Standard (PCI DSS)

Privacy Policy

By contacting us via our contact form, emailing us or telephoning us, we may ask for personal information about you. This can consist of information such as your name, email address, postal address, telephone or mobile number. By entering your details in the fields requested, you enable Granite Reef Ltd to provide you with the services you select e.g. a quotation or enquiry. Granite Reef Ltd also uses cookies (see cookie section below for details) and collects IP addresses (an IP address is a number that can identify a specific computer or other network device on the internet). We use analysis software to look at IP addresses and cookies for the purpose of enhancing your user experience. This information is not used to develop a personal profile of you. This information is not passed on to any third parties.

Cookies

Some parts of our site may need cookies for it to function e.g. a login / payment secure pages. Our site will function with or without cookies, however limitations may apply, for example, web payment facility will only work with cookies enabled. By removing, disallowing or disabling cookies on your browser for our site you may need to contact us via phone or email regarding areas of the site like our secure payment section.

Applicable Law

These terms of sale and the supply of the goods are subject to Scottish law and the Scottish courts will have jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising from the contract.
